Vietnam Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan to visit DOJI Gold & Gems Group
Vietnam Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan studied business and operation model of Ruby Plaza, coming to every jewelry stand in the plaza. Especially, Ms. Vice Chairman was really amazed at three treasury records namely Huge Sapphire weighted 15 tons, precious Star Ruby weighted 18.88 kg, thousand Ruby wedding dress – the most expensive wedding dress with 100 Rubies and 222 diamonds, and Million dollar treasure – King Star Ruby which have been displayed in Ruby Plaza.
Then, Ms. Vice President visited Gemstone and Jewelry processing workshop of DOJI Gold & Gems Group with professional machines and lines, visiting modern office area also in Ruby Plaza, which was constructed in 2007.
Ms. Doan also had a friendly talk with all staff of DOJI Group at Conference Room on 16th floor of Ruby Plaza. Ms. Vice President expressed her gladness visiting DOJI Group and seeing Vietnam’s potential in Gemstone as well as Vietnam’s people’s skills. She appraised that DOJI was able to take the best of human as the main factor to gain all success, creating strength for a better society. Her appraisal confirmed Business culture in DOJI Group. Ms. Doan also analyzed business situation in Vietnam with many opportunities and challenges, that requires long term strategy, perfect business culture so that DOJI Group and other enterprises can develop and perfect themselves. Ms. Vice President gently advised DOJI staff to keep training and perfecting themselves to become international civil in international integration. She also recommended environmental issue and social activities in the development of DOJI Group.
Reporting to Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan, DOJI CEO Do Minh Phu confirmed that Ruby Plaza is a typical product which DOJI hopes to bring about a trustworthy place of jewelry and gemstone. Together with developing its operation in domestic market, DOJI has gained prestige for Vietnam gemstone brand in many world markets such as Ruby, Sapphire and Spinel. Especially, “Vietnam Star Ruby – VSR” brand has been promoted in many markets such as Japan, Thailand, India, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Inspite of many difficulties in Vietnam economy and international inflation, DOJI Group is still having stable and expressive achievements. In 2008, DOJI had revenue of VND 5,000 billions, contributing to national budget of VND 75 billions. Especially, in 6 early months of 2009, total revenue was over whole year target of more than VND 6.000 billions, of which jewelry and gemstone import and export turn over was 207 millions USD.
